Registered Nurse RN Post Cardiac Short Stay Opportunity

We are a 120-bed acute care hospital in San Antonio, Texas, recognized for our excellence in heart and orthopedic care. Our hospital is certified in chest pain and heart failure, and we have a comprehensive cardiac program.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Short Stay Unit to provide high-quality, efficient care to our patients. As a member of our team, you will have access to a variety of resources to help you reach your goals, including a comprehensive orientation process, valuable mentorship, and leadership development programs.
Responsibilities- Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.
- Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.
- Demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS Certification.
Our Cardiac Short Stay Unit is a 8-bed unit with an RN/LVN team model. We care for post-pacemaker, catheterization, and EP case patients. Our unit is nationally recognized for Nursing Excellence and offers comprehensive educational offerings, including physician presentations and proficiency training for specialty equipment.
