Job Summary:

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Cook Children's Health Care System, you will work collaboratively with physicians and/or nurse practitioners in a physician practice or clinic setting. Your primary responsibility will be to provide ambulatory nursing care as directed by physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s), including patient and family-focused assessment, intervention, and education. You will skillfully and consistently perform daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience in a clinic or office setting or equivalent
• Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas
• Current CPR certification
