Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Cook Children's Health Care System. As a key member of our Pediatric Critical Care Department, you will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose, and implement an appropriate plan of care
  • Prescribe treatment modalities to meet patient care needs
  • Deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current professional registered nurse license or physician assistant license in Texas
  • Certification as a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
