Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Affiliate Instructor to teach hospitality-related courses at Metropolitan State University of Denver. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and be able to effectively communicate with students from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach 3+ credit hours in hospitality-related courses, including ProStart, Hotel Front Office, Hotel Housekeeping, Hospitality Property Management, Hospitality Human Resources, and Hospitality Security and Service.
  • Develop and deliver course materials, lesson plans, and assessments that meet university standards.
  • Provide students with robust feedback and support to ensure academic success.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a high-quality learning environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in hospitality or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in hospitality with significant professional experience.
  • Ability to teach in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Nationally recognized certifications and licenses in hospitality.
  • Experience teaching in a higher education setting.
