Job Summary:
Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to teach studio courses to first-year students in drawing, elements and principles of art and design, and collaboration/social practice.
About the Position:
This is a part-time adjunct faculty position in the First Year Experience Department. The successful candidate will teach studio courses to first-year students, develop and implement curriculum, and assess student learning.
Responsibilities:
- Teach studio courses to first-year students in drawing, elements and principles of art and design, and collaboration/social practice
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with CCAD's academic standards
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the First Year Experience program
Qualifications:
- Terminal degree in Fine Arts or related field
- College-level teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment
