About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at St. Johns Hospital. As a Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical environments, including Cardiac Telemetry, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, and Oncology. This role requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in a variety of clinical settings, including Cardiac Telemetry, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, and Oncology.
  • Assess and document patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement and evaluate care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient and unit outcomes.
  • Respond to Code Blues, Trauma Activation, Stroke, and Rapid Responses.
  • Monitor and care for new ICU/Tele Status Patients.
  • Assist with difficult IV starts.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing.
  • Valid MN RN License.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of ICU experience.
