Nurse Care Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at AHL Healthcare Group Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric nursing and a passion for delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in program planning, budgeting, and evaluation activities related to clinical services.
• Make medical appointments for residents as needed and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
• Review client care plans and offer input regarding best clinical nursing interventions to ensure the highest possible client outcomes.
• Implement physician orders and ensure accuracy and promptness in transcribing orders.
• Carry out proper charting practices and procedures, and monitor and train other staff on documentation and charting.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for RN.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse within the State of Minnesota.
• Previous RN experience or Assisted Living experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to make independent decisions based on standard policies and procedures.
• Reliability and flexibility are necessary for success in this position.
