Stability Direct is currently in search of a dedicated Echo Technologist to join our team.

The Echo Technologist is responsible for conducting cardiac sonography assessments in a high-pressure hospital environment, which may require participation in on-call rotations. This role demands a thorough understanding of technical data pertinent to patient conditions, tailored to individual age and specific requirements, and the ability to assist in the interpretation of results, offering preliminary insights as necessary. The technologist is committed to delivering quality and cost-effective patient care in a professional manner, ensuring a patient-centered approach that emphasizes timely and compassionate service.

Key Duties
  • Conducts cardiac sonography examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging in accordance with established protocols and procedures. Maintains comprehensive clinical documentation as per the scope of practice.
  • Informs and educates patients and their families about the procedures and treatments to be performed. Effectively positions patients and completes examinations.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and quality, actively working to minimize risks through adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, following organizational policies and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Provides thorough assessments, actions, and documentation to ensure effective patient care.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of imaging experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • CPR/BLS Certification from an accredited organization is required.
  • RDCS-AE Adult Echocardiography certification is required upon hire, or
  • CCI-RCS Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification is required upon hire, and
  • RDCS-PE Pediatric Echocardiography certification is preferred upon hire.
