Job Summary

As a Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist with Riverside Health System, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiography tests, including stress echo, transesophageal echo, and contrast imaging. You will also provide clinical documentation and support service growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality images following established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide clinical documentation and support service growth.
  • Responsible for application and understanding of all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards.
  • Follow RHS policies and procedures, reporting variances as needed.
  • Provide the highest level of patient care and engagement.
  • Demonstrate engagement and commitment to work excellence through effective assessment, actions, and documentation.
  • Demonstrate support and action for financial targets, accuracy, and compliance.
Requirements

Education
  • Program Graduate, Accredited cardiac ultrasound program or equivalent on-the-job training from an echo laboratory (Preferred).
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required).
Experience
  • 2 years related experience (Required).
Licenses and Certifications
  • Echocardiographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - Upon Hire (Required) or
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registry eligible - Upon Hire (Required) or
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) - Upon Hire (Required)
  • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire (Required)
