We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Hospice team as a PRN (as needed) caregiver. As a Hospice Aide, you will provide personalized care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses, promoting their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, exercise, and ambulation to patients, adhering to state and federal regulations
  • Utilize safety techniques and proper body mechanics when administering care, transferring patients, and performing other work responsibilities
  • Take and record vital signs or other metrics as instructed
  • Record and report changes in the patient's mental and physical status to the RN
  • Participate in weekend rotation for scheduled visits
  • Prepare light meals, launder, and perform other household services essential to the patient's healthcare
  • Maintain twelve (12) hour educational requirements
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Aide program with current certification
  • In good standing with state regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Proficient computer and technology skills
