Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and supervise maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimize downtime.
  • Oversee the work performed by maintenance crews and outside contractors to ensure quality and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage urgent or breakdown jobs to keep equipment running and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and motivate direct reports to create a reliable and competent workforce.
  • Provide technical assistance to maintenance personnel to expedite problem resolution.
Requirements
  • 5 years of mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prior experience working with heavy industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead others with or without direct authority.
  • Knowledge or understanding of SAP preferred.
  • Working knowledge and technical competency in the cement manufacturing process.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MSHA regulations and guidelines.
