Job Overview

Messina Talent is in search of an HR Business Partner for a permanent position with our client, a leading global chemical manufacturer. This role is integral to the Americas region, encompassing multiple sites across North and South America. The ideal candidate will embody qualities such as drive, integrity, and a commitment to the success of the organization.

  • This position offers a hybrid work model with remote work options on designated days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to multiple manufacturing sites and functional teams.
  • Oversee the complete talent acquisition process for designated areas.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes effectively.
  • Collaborate with regional and site managers to align HR strategies.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and management at assigned locations.
  • Facilitate the implementation of HR processes and initiatives.
  • Lead employee engagement and recognition programs.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and propose proactive solutions.
  • Assist managers in developing succession plans for key roles.
  • Conduct employee investigations as necessary.
  • Handle unemployment claims and third-party inquiries.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide recommendations on employee retention.
  • Engage with upper management regarding HR matters related to assigned sites.
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and address issues promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred HR certification (SHRM or HRCI).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, SuccessFactors).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
