Position Overview

Summary

We are looking for a committed Inbound Customer Service Representative specializing in Sleep Therapy to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in assisting our Sleep Therapy patients through our Inbound Call Center. The representative will handle tasks related to CPAP resupply, ensuring accurate order intake and adherence to product guidelines. Responsibilities include verifying patient information and assisting with basic sleep coaching and equipment maintenance.

Compensation starts at $15.50, with opportunities for a monthly bonus and unlimited earning potential.

  • Work schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5pm
  • Remote work options available after successful completion of IN OFFICE TRAINING and meeting performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an advocate for patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Gather patient information and accurately input data into our systems.
  • Conduct thorough product and service verifications.
  • Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stay informed about the current products and services offered by Rotech.
  • Identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Make outbound calls to collect necessary patient data.
  • Manage high-volume inbound calls for initial intake.
  • Handle patient paperwork as assigned.
  • Ensure timely processing of product orders.
  • Maintain regular attendance.
  • Provide basic technical support for CPAP equipment.
  • Educate patients and staff on CPAP supplies.
  • Utilize proprietary systems to ensure data accuracy and quality control.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Employment requirements include:

  • Background check.
  • Drug screening (if applicable).
  • Basic computer and internet skills assessment, along with a typing test.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record (if applicable).

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in the medical field and record management.
  • Strong background in customer service.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous demeanor.
  • Able to interpret various instructions across different communication mediums.
  • Familiarity with billing and insurance policies is preferred.
  • Understanding of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME).
  • Knowledge of medical billing practices is a plus.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
  • Requires close vision for detailed work.
  • Involves sitting, walking, standing, talking, and listening.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in email communication.
  • Skilled in internet navigation and research.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and printers.
