Position Overview:
Under the guidance of the designated Coordinator, the Clinical Laboratory Specialist will perform a variety of clinical laboratory tasks, including but not limited to quality control measures and the maintenance of laboratory instruments. This role requires effective collaboration with both departmental and interdepartmental personnel, ensuring a seamless workflow within the laboratory environment.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a related field, accompanied by certification as a medical technologist from a recognized registry board, such as the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or an equivalent.
- Completion of one year of training in an accredited medical technology program, along with two to three years of relevant experience. Supervisory skills are also essential.
Alternatively:
- An Associate Degree in Science or a related field, with certification as a Medical Lab Technician from a recognized registry board.
- A minimum of five months of clinical training in a hospital laboratory setting, along with registry as an MLT with ASCP. One to three years of experience is preferred.

- Physical Examination
- Respirator Fit Testing
