Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our esteemed practice. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Efficiently handle a high volume of incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and messages, ensuring timely responses.

- Assist in patient intake processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and payments are processed.

- Support clinical staff by preparing patients for examinations and maintaining a professional demeanor throughout interactions.

- Document patient information accurately, including taking before and after photos as required.

- Exhibit strong multitasking abilities and problem-solving skills to address various tasks as they arise.

- Uphold the core values and culture of our clinic in all interactions.

Qualifications:

- A friendly, professional attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset.

- Excellent communication skills and a high level of phone etiquette.

- Highly organized with the ability to work independently.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.

- Current Medical Assistant certification is required.

- Proficient in EHR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

- Must provide three references, including two from previous employers.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, stand, walk, sit, and utilize hands for computer and phone tasks. Occasionally, the position may require lifting or moving objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision and color vision.

Work Environment:

This position is performed indoors in a climate-controlled setting with a generally mild to moderate noise level.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience.
