Job Title: Medical Assistant - Norman Pediatric Specialty Clinic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Norman Pediatric Specialty Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

* Assist physicians and other medical personnel with patient examinations and procedures
* Perform routine patient care functions, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
* Coordinate patient schedules and communicate with patients and healthcare providers
* Provide administrative support to the healthcare team

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
* 2+ years of experience in patient care as a Medical Assistant or 2+ years performing electronic order entry
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* One of the following certifications preferred: Medical Assistant - American Medical Technologists (AMT), Registered Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Personnel, etc.
