Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology and Interventional Technologist to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with patient care quality standards and participating in performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities
  • Document required information and communicate with primary physicians and direct care staff.
  • Coordinate and assist patient care in collaboration with radiology technologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
  • Consult with staff as necessary to meet patient and family needs.
  • Ensure availability and safe utilization of clinical equipment and supplies.
  • Perform Point of Care procedures in a timely manner, adhering to established policy and procedure.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with equipment in the Interventional Suite procedure room.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or equivalent.
  • Entry-level graduate Radiology Technologists will be accepted depending on shift and technical responsibility.
  • Preferred: One to two years of experience in an acute care setting as a Radiology Technologist or Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
