Job Summary
The Culinary Specialist is responsible for preparing food in accordance with standardized recipes and instructions from the executive chef or sous chef. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred, or three years of institutional cooking experience.

Work Experience:
2 years of food preparation experience, with a preference for high-volume food preparation.

License & Certifications:
Food Handlers Certification is required.

Equipment Operated:
The Culinary Specialist will operate various kitchen equipment, including ovens, steam cookers, meat slicers, deep fat fryers, and grills.

Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, with the ability to compose clear and concise reports.

Other Skills:
Strong math skills are necessary for this role.

Work Schedule:
The Culinary Specialist will work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules, with the possibility of overtime.
