About the Role

Bila Solar, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including inspection, testing, and cleaning of machinery and equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment failures to quickly resolve problems and maintain smooth production flow.
  • Repairs: Repair or replace defective parts and components using hand and power tools as needed, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Technical Documentation: Utilize manufacturer manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents to effectively troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production operators and team members to identify maintenance needs and prioritize tasks, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities using our computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all employees.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training programs to stay current with new equipment and maintenance techniques, ensuring ongoing professional development and growth.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical maintenance is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Tool Ownership: Ability to provide your own tools for working on various manufacturing machines, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
  • PLC Experience: Familiarity with PLC programs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Direct Logix), with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
  • Robotics Experience: Experience with ABB robotics is preferred, with a strong understanding of robotic systems and programming.
  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Technical Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to real-world problems.
  • Tool Usage: Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments, with a strong understanding of tool safety and maintenance.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), with a strong understanding of lifting safety and ergonomics.
