We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker/CNA to join our team at Care New England Health System. As a key member of our care team, you will provide patient advocacy and support services to our patients, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment on our unit.
Responsibilities- Assist registered nurses in direct patient care, focusing on activities of daily living and patient safety
- Provide patient advocacy through role modeling and effective communication
- Participate in group activities and contribute to a positive unit environment
- Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable behavioral health experience
- Excellent written and communication skills
- CNA certification (external candidates) or completion within 6 months (internal MHW candidates)
- Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients
20/40 Part Time Nights, every other weekend
