We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Cashier to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our front-end operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of cashiers and providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by Example: Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and provide guidance and support to your team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Operational Excellence: Assist with operational issues, including ensuring accurate cash handling, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Team Management: Schedule and oversee the execution of meal and rest breaks, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
- Customer Focus: Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service, assist with customer inquiries, and maintain a positive and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Leadership Experience: 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training or experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and management.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry product weighing up to 30 lbs., and use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, with the ability to accurately handle cash and maintain accurate records.
