Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Cashier to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our front-end operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of cashiers and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by proactively visiting registers and assisting customers with their purchases.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of cashiers to ensure they are meeting customer service standards and operating efficiently.
  • Operational Management: Assist with operational issues, such as scheduling, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Security and Loss Prevention: Maintain visibility of the exit doors and report any security or loss prevention issues to management.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with cash handling and mathematical skills.
