Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer to enhance our dynamic Oil, Gas & Chemical global practice in Houston, TX. This role presents a unique opportunity to expand your technical design expertise and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct process design calculations and generate essential deliverables, including hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, process simulations, Heat and Material Balances (H&MB), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Engage in chemical engineering design tasks throughout project phases, from conceptualization to completion.
  • Plan, organize, and execute work requiring independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, adapting, and modifying standard engineering techniques and criteria.
  • Undertake assignments that may involve conventional engineering practices with various complex features.
  • Coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and prepare reports as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • A Master's degree in Chemical Engineering may substitute for one year of professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical engineering, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of standard engineering practices and procedures.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Experience with process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus, HTRI) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, teamwork, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Work Environment
