Position Overview

As an essential member of our team, the Evening Custodial Specialist is responsible for maintaining a pristine and organized environment within our facilities. This role requires a commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all floors are kept clean through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Restock restroom supplies, including those in locker rooms.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize toilets, showers, locker room benches, and sinks.
  • Collect and dispose of trash from all areas of the facility.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to maintain visibility and aesthetics.
  • Dust and wipe down furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Monitor security and safety protocols by locking doors after hours.
  • Request necessary cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support overall cleanliness.

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals, along with safe handling practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to bend, stoop, reach overhead, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
