About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Medical Physicist to join our team at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of clinical research and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality assurance of linear accelerators and CT-simulators, as well as other clinically related quality assurance tasks
  • Participating in complex clinical procedures and contributing to the development of new treatment modalities
  • Collaborating with our research team to advance clinical research and education in radiation oncology and physics
  • Providing clinical education and training to our medical physics residents and graduate students
Requirements
  • M.S. degree in Medical Physics or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in clinical medical physics
  • Board Certification (or Board Eligible) in Medical Physics
  • Ability to obtain NYS licensure or permit to practice
