Job Overview

We are actively looking for a Housekeeping Operations Leader to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests and team members in a warm and service-oriented manner.
  • Ensure consistent attendance in line with Arbor Lodging standards, adapting to the hotel's scheduling needs.
  • Uphold high standards of personal grooming and attire, including the appropriate uniform and name tag.
  • Adhere to Arbor Lodging policies and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Conduct daily inspections of staff performance in assigned areas to ensure standards and productivity are met.
  • In the absence of senior management, oversee the inspection of VIP rooms and communicate their status to the Front Desk.
  • Manage the orderly closing of floors at the end of shifts, ensuring Room Attendants' carts are clean and stocked.
  • Complete and submit daily assignment records to the Housekeeping Office punctually.
  • Maintain the key control system effectively.
  • Supervise all Laundry and Housekeeping staff, holding them accountable for their performance.
  • Document and report any issues related to work performance, attendance, or attire.
  • Manage lost and found items in accordance with established standards.
  • Familiarize yourself with all Arbor Lodging policies and House Rules.
  • Ensure staff remains attentive, friendly, and courteous to guests and colleagues.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of staff areas.
  • Assign daily duties to Room Attendants and House Attendants.
  • Monitor the cleanliness of Room Attendants' carts and storage areas.
  • Provide daily updates on the status of out-of-order rooms under Housekeeping supervision.
  • Initiate and follow up on maintenance requests for repairs and upkeep.
  • Facilitate proper training for Room Attendants.
  • Motivate and guide staff as needed.
  • Collect keys and assignment sheets at the end of each shift.
  • Participate in management meetings as required.
  • Ensure completion of regular maintenance and cleaning projects.
  • Monitor VIP guests and special requests.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

A successful candidate will possess:

  • 1-2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping leadership or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience with IHG brands is a plus.
