Radiology Department Manager

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Supervisor to join our Radiology team at Montefiore Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing non-clinical operations, ensuring optimal environment, patient experience, and associate experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage regulatory compliance, payroll, scheduling, HR & staffing needs, budgetary/financial analysis and reporting, environmental needs, and inventory management.
- Conduct random regulatory audits and ensure all deficiencies are rectified.
- Review, edit, and complete daily electronic time cards for bi-weekly approval.
- Track time and attendance of all associates, identify policy violations, draft disciplines, and assist with scheduling of coaching/discipline meetings.
- Create unit schedule for staff, call staff in to work supplemental shifts, and assign appropriate coverage for staffing deficiencies.
- Ensure all appropriate schedule information is entered in to Kronos, reconcile all schedules daily, and create and track vacation grids.
- Manage and maintain inventory at PAR level, track item usage, and order supplies as needed.
- Assist in facilitating the optimal patient experience by participating in PI initiatives.
- Assist in budgetary/financial preparation, analysis, and reconciliation.
- Analyze and manipulate data to identify trends, discrepancies, and operational/financial outliers.
- Assist staff with questions related to Payroll, HR, Policy Guidance, IT Support, Talent Management, and track and manage all position requisitions.
- Assist with on-boarding and Departmental Orientation of all new associates.
- Provide oversight to unit clerical staff on day-to-day activities, participate in the recruitment and hiring of clerical staff, and assist in the annual evaluation of such staff.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 years Administrative/Managerial experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn and operate Montefiore's systems
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Customer Service oriented
- Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or 3-5 years Administrative/Managerial experience
- Preferred background and/or exposure in related fields
