As a Claims Support Specialist, you will handle a significant volume of incoming calls, concentrating on gathering comprehensive details for newly reported Liability and Auto claims, in addition to addressing inquiries regarding previously submitted claims. You will acquire product knowledge through practical New Hire training. During times of crisis, you may be required to work additional hours. Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour
Shift: First
Work Hours: 10 AM - 7 PM
Education Requirement: Associate Degree

Key Responsibilities:

As a Claims Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing high volumes of incoming calls and providing written communication for all lines of business for policyholders, agents, and strategic accounts.
  • Processing transactions across various lines of business, systems, and products.
  • Utilizing multiple computer applications effectively.
  • Actively participating in departmental initiatives and objectives.
  • Maintaining Customer Service Metrics related to call volume, call quality, and attendance.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Customer Call Center environment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a metrics-driven setting.
  • Demonstrated history of punctuality and attendance.
  • Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
