Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare and serve meals that align with dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Safely assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and assistive devices.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and promptly report any changes in the client's condition to healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Proficient in cooking and meal preparation, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need.
- Knowledgeable in basic nursing principles and practices, ensuring proper care delivery.
- Experienced in assisted living or senior care settings, understanding the unique needs of elderly individuals.
- Familiar with medical records documentation and strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Strong communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and client well-being.
