UNC Health Care is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team in the ICU/PCU department. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care, assist with routine examinations and procedures, and provide administrative and clerical support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures
  • Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and ambulation
  • Measure and record vital signs, patient height and weight, and perform other clinical tasks as needed
  • Provide administrative and clerical support, including data entry and PI audits
  • Assist with orientation of new employees and students
Requirements
  • High School diploma or General Education Development
  • Licensed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Prefer six (6) months related nursing assistant experience
