About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Design Manager to lead our design team on various fire protection system projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing automatic sprinkler systems using AutoSPRINK and HydraCAD software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and direct the design team on various fire protection system projects.
  • Exercise attention to detail while designing automatic sprinkler systems.
  • Ensure quality of submittal drawings and calculations.
  • Monitor workload of other designers and maintain technical certifications.
  • Plan, organize, and execute projects through activities such as on-site field surveys, generating hydraulic calculations, and submitting drawings to obtain required building permits.
  • Prepare stock lists, ensure projects adhere to proposed timelines, and prepare project close-out, operation, and maintenance documents.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a design role with increased responsibility within the fire protection industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoSPRINK, mathematically and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software and codes.
  • Ability to lead others, work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Commitment to maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge and executing tasks with a great amount of detail.
