Key Responsibilities:

  1. Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
  2. Inspect building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure operation within design capabilities and environmental conditions.
  3. Stay up-to-date with applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  4. Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors.
  5. Predict and perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
  6. Maintain an energy management program to optimize system operation and minimize operating costs.
  7. Cultivate positive working relationships with clients and operations maintenance team members.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  2. A minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or trade school training.
  3. Effective communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  4. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  5. Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Universal CFC certification.
  2. Additional certification in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
