  • Observe and supervise the swimming area to ensure a safe environment.
  • Assess swimmer capabilities and enforce appropriate water depth restrictions.
  • Identify and respond to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid.
  • Support swimming instruction for various skill levels.
  • Maintain order among participants and uphold facility rules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to remove hazards and maintain cleanliness.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities.
  • Learn to monitor and record water quality parameters.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate, which includes Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid Basics. Alternatively, candidates may hold a valid American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate along with a valid CPR certificate and First Aid Basics certification.
