- Adhere to confidentiality and safety standards while maintaining a clean work area.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and pre-examination procedures.
- Document all relevant data and assessments accurately in the patient record using appropriate technology.
- Assist healthcare providers in consultations, treatments, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Provide health counseling and education to patients and their families.
- Manage medication reconciliation, compliance, and inventory.
- Operate medical equipment and oversee the maintenance of medical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
- Handle triage of calls for urgent appointments and manage documentation as needed.
- Utilize general office skills, including computer proficiency and effective communication.
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with patients and their families.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Functions of the Team Lead:
- Report to the Operations Officer and lead a designated team of clinical staff through effective communication.
- Manage team assignments, including approval of time off and timecard submissions.
- Oversee staff management processes, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care, personnel issues, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise the delivery of educational resources to ensure the team is equipped to provide compassionate care.
- Communicate policies and procedures to team members and monitor their implementation.
- Act as a role model to empower team members and foster professional relationships.
- Facilitate onboarding and training for new team members while identifying opportunities for team development.
