Job Summary:

The Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring that all security protocols are followed, and that our clients receive the highest level of service. This is a supervisory level position that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assure proper use and maintenance of all security equipment and technology.
  • Assist with the staffing of all security posts to ensure complete coverage.
  • Responsible for scheduling security officers and filling vacant posts.
  • Conduct regular inspections of security officers, appearances, licenses, and uniforms.
  • Review written reports and sign-in sheets to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, and legibility.
  • Ensure that security officers make timely and thorough daily report entries.
  • Review post orders and make recommendations for changes to senior management.
  • Report any major disciplinary problems or complaints of discrimination, sexual harassment, or unfair labor practices to the Senior Supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Scheduling flexibility, as position may be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Attended or able to attend and successfully pass Admiral/ADM Leadership training.
  • Internal candidates must have an exemplary performance and attendance record with NO disciplines within a year of applying for this position.
  • Possess exceptional customer service skills.
  • Be able to multitask.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft office products and be able to operate and maintain site-specific security programs.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security supervisor experience or experience in a related field.
  • A College degree may account for some of the experience qualification.
  • Military management background will also be considered as equivalent experience.
