About the Role

US Foods is seeking a skilled Warehouse Selector to join our team. As a Warehouse Selector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient selection of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and accurately select customer orders by utilizing order selecting software and equipment to build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
  • Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Carefully move products from racks to pallets, directed by order selecting software and equipment, to ensure accurate and damage-free orders.
  • Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage-free to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Efficiently deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Team up with colleagues to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets from slots in the aisle, and return pallet jacks to the charging area to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Ability to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday, with occasional weekends and holidays required.
  • Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity, such as lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, or construction work.
  • Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
  • Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment is preferred.
