About the RoleWe're seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Financial Institutions Group with a focus on covering insurance carriers. As a Managing Director, you'll work closely with junior bankers and clients, involved in all phases of origination and execution, including building relationships, identifying new leads, managing client relationships, and overseeing due diligence processes.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and revenue in the Financial Institutions Group
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Lead and manage a team of bankers to achieve business objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the firm's services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- 10+ years of experience in sell-side M&A advisory
- Minimum 5 years of industry-specific M&A experience
- Fundamental understanding of the insurance carrier and broker industry
- Track record of consistent revenue generation
- Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier school
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly proficient financial analysis and modeling skills
- Significant level of maturity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
