Job Overview

As a Data Entry/Fingerprinting Specialist at the Children's Refugee Shelter, in association with Teneo Linguistics Company, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the safety and streamlined operations of a sanctuary dedicated to serving refugee children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry: Accurately input relevant data into the shelter's database system, ensuring all details are up-to-date and organized.
  • Fingerprinting: Conduct fingerprinting processes for our personnel, as part of the shelter's security and identification protocols.
  • Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of existing data, correcting any discrepancies and maintaining data integrity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, such as HR and Admin, to obtain necessary information and documentation.
  • Confidentiality: Adhere strictly to confidentiality protocols, ensuring that sensitive information remains secure.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate fingerprinting equipment, ensuring its consistent functionality.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports as required by the Site Manager or Program Director.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in data entry, fingerprinting, or related fields.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using database software and fingerprinting equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Troubleshooting: Basic troubleshooting skills for fingerprinting equipment.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, are considered an advantage though not mandatory.
