Emergency Care Registered Nurse

As an Emergency Care Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional medical services to patients within our clinics, under the guidance of an attending Physician or Physician Assistant. This essential position is part of a dynamic organization that offers integrated care to both adult and pediatric patients for conditions typically addressed in a conventional emergency department.
Schedule: Full Time, 8 AM - 8 PM, 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high-quality medical treatment and care to patients at their preferred locations, with oversight from an attending Physician or Physician Assistant.
- Evaluating and managing Covid-related cases, which includes collecting clinical samples for testing, conducting point-of-care assessments, obtaining blood for antibody tests, and providing symptom management and guidance.
- Executing medical procedures such as establishing IV access, performing phlebotomy, administering vaccinations, conducting rapid tests, delivering IV medications and fluids, and executing EKGs.
- Maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic health system, Athena Health, and our CRM, Salesforce.
- Overseeing and tracking medication inventory.
- Coordinating additional patient care with our Aftercare and house call teams or with our Medical Partners.
- Collaborating closely with clinical team members to ensure adherence to policies and delivery of quality care in an innovative environment.
- Ensuring patient comfort, addressing inquiries with patience and professionalism, and employing empathetic communication at all times.
- Carrying out related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
We value diverse backgrounds, but ideally, candidates will possess:
- A degree from an accredited School of Nursing, either an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- A valid Registered Professional Nurse license in Florida.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon hire.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in emergency medicine.
