As a key member of our Global Health Technical Assistance and Mission Support (GH-TAMS) project team, you will be responsible for providing financial management, accounting, and administrative support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial management and accounting support to project teams, including review and approval of travel expense reports and consultant invoices.
- Manage payment tracking logs and ensure compliance with client rules and regulations.
- Work closely with project staff to develop financial reports and ensure timely submission to clients.
- Collaborate with other GH-TAMS project staff to manage corporate travel and expense processes.
- Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- At least 6 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on international development.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices, including GAAP and FAR/AIDAR.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project staff and clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Masters degree in business, accounting, or finance.
- Experience working with USAID or other donor-funded projects.
- Knowledge of Deltek and other financial management software.
