About the Role:

Pioneer Data Systems is seeking a skilled Hardware Test Engineer to join our team. As a Hardware Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test benches and computer systems to test electromechanical hardware
  • Support the development of test benches for subsystem and subassembly testing
  • Debug and modify existing test scripts to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Execute tests and collect data based on test instructions
  • Document results and report to engineers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in electromechanical hardware testing
  • Knowledge of programming concepts and ability to modify existing scripts (Python and Unix)
  • Excellent reporting and documentation skills
  • Experience with data acquisition systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate knowledge of automation and servo control systems
  • Work experience within Medical Device manufacturing environment
