Electrical Hardware Engineer

EVONA is a prominent player in the satellite systems sector, dedicated to a variety of space missions that cater to both commercial and scientific endeavors. We are in search of an Electrical Hardware Engineer to contribute to our innovative projects.

Position Overview:

The selected candidate will take charge of the design, evaluation, and upkeep of avionics hardware tailored for satellite systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform component selection, design assessments, and circuit board layout for electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with electronic assemblies, establishing new methodologies and pinpointing improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of flight hardware, from initial concept through to operational deployment.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing the reliability of avionics hardware.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the design and testing of electrical hardware.
  • Expertise in avionics testing equipment and PCB design.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with Altium or comparable software.
  • Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and test coverage evaluation.
  • Practical experience in the installation and troubleshooting of electronic components.
  • Experience in wire harness design and assembly.

Compensation Range:

  • $120,000 to $150,000 annually
