Key Responsibilities
  • Use extensive experience and skill set in digital graphic design to produce visual collateral for the company.
  • Manage day-to-day graphic and creative department workflow, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate and create project standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Prioritize project requests and work with the creative team to gather and assign resources, ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Provide directional feedback and proofreading for creative projects, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Project status reporting to the Director of Marketing and department stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Contribute stellar design skills with creative, edgy, and bold concepts for marketing and branding projects, demonstrating a keen eye for simple, strong design.
  • Create vision boards, storyboards, and concept art for campaigns, driving innovative and effective marketing strategies.
  • Manage and maintain all brand assets, including brand guidelines, graphic design libraries, and digital asset development, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage email communications and updates, coordinating printing processes from submission to completion and delivery.
  • Build look books, event promotional materials, media kits, packaging inserts, sales materials, and other collateral to enhance the customer journey and support marketing needs.
  • Partner closely with all teams to identify problems and translate them into creative solutions that drive business metrics, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Support the design and production of digital assets, including online/mobile graphics, emails, menus, party flyers, videos, animations, and other collateral, staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.
  • Manage the production, repurposing, resizing, rethinking, and execution of approved design systems, while crafting new ones, for both print and digital assets, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Collect and complete approved change requests by various teams and departments in a timely manner, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
  • Assist the marketing team with large-scale projects from a creative viewpoint, including presentation decks, print collateral, social media assets, and other marketing materials, driving business growth and success.
  • Openly welcome feedback and make improvements to designs for a stronger end product that aligns with business objectives and messaging, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all work is submitted for approvals, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with creative management to ensure that designs meet corporate and operational expectations, driving consistency and alignment across the organization.
  • Collaborate with content and social teams to execute on campaign deployment, when needed, fostering a seamless and effective marketing strategy.
  • Communicate project status, timelines, and delivery information to pertinent teams, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Liaise with internal departments, partners, and vendors to resolve challenges, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay current in design trends and styles in various media, staying ahead of the curve and driving innovation in marketing and branding.
  • Maintain Company brand standards with all animations, videos, and graphics designed, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

Working Knowledge/Education/Requirements
  • Must be highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, most notably Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design or a related field.
  • Managerial experience.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Intermediate understanding of composition, layout, color theory, and typography.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in art or graphic design preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a similar hospitality, hotel, or resort setting preferred.
  • Professional portfolio showcasing work.
  • Knowledge of design best practices in print, digital, video, and social platforms.
  • Understanding of motion graphics and its connection to design.
  • Understanding of digital content creation best practices as relates to social media, YouTube, etc.
  • Ability to anticipate and quickly identify upcoming issues and projects, then independently reprioritize workflow to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail.

  • Schedule could exceed 40 hours per week and may include overtime when approved by management.
  • Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to be exposed to day life/nightlife environmental factors, including but not limited to second-hand smoke, excessive noise, flashing/strobe lights, and stress levels related to interacting with guests in a fast-paced environment.
