We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lifestyle Director to join our team at Clearwater Newport Beach, a premier luxury senior living community in Newport Beach. As a Lifestyle Director, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and directing the overall operation of resident and family Lifestyle activities, programs, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a monthly calendar of events that promotes resident participation and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain social media content under the umbrella of Clearwater's Home Office.
  • Coordinate with other associates to plan, execute, and attend special functions, such as holidays and celebratory events.
  • Conduct surveys to determine resident interests and preferences.
  • Oversee transportation of residents, including scheduling, execution, and evaluation of transportation programs.
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and supervise department staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and train volunteers to assist with Lifestyle programs and special events.
  • Manage the department within budgetary guidelines, track inventory, and order supplies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediately.
Requirements:
  • Ability to drive community vehicles and obtain necessary certifications.
  • AA degree or Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Kinesiology, Recreation Therapy, or Health Promotion, or combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two to four years of experience in developing and implementing Lifestyle programs for seniors.
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience, including training and supervising staff and developing and managing a budget.
  • First Aid/CPR/BLS Certification required.
  • Background clearances as required by government regulations.
