Position Summary

The Power Equipment Maintenance Specialist is tasked with the inspection, upkeep, and repair of motive power systems. This role involves executing fundamental troubleshooting, performing repairs both in the field and at our facilities, and addressing customer requirements promptly.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance.
  • Diagnose issues in battery and charger systems.
  • Carry out repairs at client sites and Concentric facilities.
  • Provide timely responses to client inquiries, demonstrating exceptional customer service.
  • Complete all work orders and documentation in accordance with Concentric's standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and work independently or collaboratively in a professional manner.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.

Performance Metrics:

· A performance scorecard reflecting metrics such as safety, efficiency, work order completion, customer satisfaction, and problem resolution.

· Effective time management skills, achieving over 90% billable time to clients.

· Management feedback on attitude, commitment, teamwork, and eagerness to acquire new skills.

· Additional key performance indicators as established by Concentric leadership, contributing positively to customer and company outcomes.

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

· Familiarity with basic AC and DC electrical/electronic principles.

· Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Capacity to organize work independently with minimal supervision.

· Ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs.

· Proficient in articulating ideas clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

· Capability to foster strong workplace relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction.

· Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

· Experience in a material handling setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

· Occasional travel within the designated area is expected, with most nights spent at home.

· A valid driver's license is required; a CDL is a plus but not essential.

· Openness to working occasional overtime.
