Job Overview

Impact Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Med Surg/Tele Renal position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process and adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice.
  • Effectively delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assume accountability for quality patient outcomes and maintain involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of unit and departmental strategic goals and objectives.
  • Exhibit sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions and demonstrate professional responsibility and accountability for your own practice.

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Certification in the clinical specialty area preferred.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

The physical essential functions of this job include frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects and occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Because the incumbent works in a healthcare setting, there may be an occupational risk of exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste in the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning, and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
