Job Summary

As a Renal Nurse Specialist with Healthcare Staffing Plus, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively utilize the Nursing Process to provide patient care.
  • Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patient populations.
  • Communicate and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader and partner on the Interdisciplinary Team.
  • Utilize data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.

Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Minimum of two years of current RN Med/Surg Renal experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program.
  • Active unencumbered Louisiana RN state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
