We are looking for a dedicated Staffing and Supply Coordination Specialist (Illinois certified C.N.A.) who is committed to delivering focused and quality-driven care while effectively managing this dual role and fostering relationships with staff and colleagues.
Role Overview:
- Facilitate an efficient schedule for nursing personnel (RNs, LPNs, C.N.As) through the preparation and upkeep of daily and monthly rosters.
- Identify and communicate staffing gaps and assist in addressing them.
- Manage schedule modifications such as tardiness and absences to ensure sufficient coverage.
- Collaborate with facility leadership to uphold appropriate staffing ratios.
- Support staff recruitment and retention efforts.
Key Responsibilities as Staffing Coordinator:
- Possess a current Illinois C.N.A. Certification.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of staff scheduling.
- Exhibit strong computer and email proficiency.
- Have experience in a long-term care environment.
- Be able to work flexible hours.
- Make independent decisions when necessary.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show compassion and the ability to manage stress effectively.
- Be energetic, professional, and dependable.

Key Responsibilities as Supply Coordinator:
- Order, stock, and manage nursing supplies inventory.
- Oversee new stock in the supply area.
- Understand and apply the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle.
- Effectively manage budgets and PPDs.
- Ensure nursing units are stocked according to PAR levels.
