We are seeking a dedicated Staffing Coordinator/Central Supply Clerk (Illinois certified C.N.A.) who is uncompromising in providing concentrated and quality-driven care and with the ability to effectively coordinate this dual role while relating and building relationships with staff and coworkers.

The Staffing Coordinator/Central Supply Clerk must have the following:

Current Illinois C.N.A. Certificate

·A working knowledge of how to schedule staff.

·Solid computer and email skills.

·Experience working in a long-term care setting required..

·Ability to work flexible hours.

·Must possess the ability to make independent decisions in certain circumstances.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·Compassionate and able to handle stress.

·Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.

As the Staffing Coordinator, you will:

·Be responsible for scheduling the facility nursing staff (RN’s, LPN’s, C.N.A.’s) through preparation and maintenance of daily and monthly schedules.

·Ensure that vacancies are identified, communicated, and posted and assists in filling vacancies.

·Takes calls regarding schedule changes (tardies, call off’s, etc) and adjusts schedule to ensure coverage.

·Coordinate with facility leadership (DON/Administrator) to ensure adequate staffing ratios are maintained.

·Assist in the recruitment and retention of staff.

As the Central Supply Clerk, you will:

·Order, stock, and inventory all purchases of nursing supplies.

·Unloads and puts away new stock in supply room.

·Maintains and understands FIFO rule

·Understands budgets, and PPD’s and how to maintain them.

·Keeps nursing units stocked and supplied per PAR levels.
