We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Support Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Patient Support Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our OR team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist members of the OR team with housekeeping, stocking, and patient transport in the Operating Room.
- Ensure the appropriate working condition of equipment utilized in direct patient care.
- Perform surgical preps with proper instruction and follow proper safety and infection control procedures.
- Transport and transfer patients safely and efficiently.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and maintain a safe work environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday with weekend and holiday on-call requirements.
